BARI

Introducing “BARI,” a one-year incubator programme designed to support the growth and success of eight South Asian designers and artists. This collaborative initiative focuses on enhancing participants’ branding and marketing capabilities through expert guidance from mentors and industry professionals in the fashion and creative sectors.

Under the leadership of Rahemur Rahman, Director of Training and Development, the programme facilitates monthly gatherings where the cohort of eight individuals convene to provide feedback on each other’s business strategies and creative directions. This constructive feedback loop enables participants to refine their approaches and make informed decisions to propel their businesses forward.

The culmination of the incubator programme will be an exclusive exhibition held at British Bangladesh Fashion Council’s headquarters. This event will serve as a platform for each designer and maker to showcase their unique creations, while also launching their direct-to-consumer packages to potential buyers and clients. By directly engaging with their target audience, participants can establish meaningful connections and secure opportunities for future growth.

Throughout the programme’s duration, participants will benefit from mentorship and guidance from established experts within the fashion and creative industries. These mentors possess extensive knowledge and experience, providing invaluable insights and industry best practices to help participants refine their branding and marketing strategies.

“BARI” is committed to nurturing the talents and entrepreneurial skills of South Asian designers and artists, empowering them to reach their full potential. By fostering a collaborative and supportive environment, this incubator program aims to equip participants with the necessary tools and resources to thrive in the competitive international fashion and creative landscapes.
